Kama Sutra by Sex Toy Guide The sale of Tantric Sex books over the last few years is staggering. The idea of having sex and orgasms for hours would make anyone run to the bookstore to get a copy of the latest trend. Tantric Sex has received so much mainstream press over the last few years with musician like Sting from the police telling tales of 1-hour orgasms. Being a guy, I can say that a one-hour orgasm would put me in my grave. I believe that the Kama Sutra is a much simpler concept then that. As you read through any version of the Kama Sutra you’ll probably notice that you experienced at least a few of those positions on your own. Most of them are pretty natural positions and have become popular for a reason. They are simply the best positions for sex.
The original version of the Kaman Sutra was written by Vatsysyana in the 4th Century AD and translated by the Victorian explorer Sir Richard Burton, was produced for men. But it was written to assist men give their woman a wonderful experienced in bed. Vatsysyana was a man of his times and believed that life consisted of dharman, Artha, and kama. Dharma was the acquisition of religious merit; Artha was the acquisition of wealth; and Kama was the acquisition of love or sensual pleasure. The Kaman Sutra was conceived, as a kind of a textbook for a man’s exploration of the female sexuality.
Women are no longer regarded as people with no say or power. The original book still has much merit and can still be found in bookstores with most of the original pictures and positions but just like the bible, we have needed to take this book and change it a bit to relate more with our current times.
I would recommend any of Anne Hoopers books for someone interested in working the Kama Sutra into their sex lives. A practicing sex therapist and relationship counselor in the US and Britain, Ann Hooper is founder of the Woman/s Sexuality Workshop and a former director of the Forum Clinic. She is an expert on Tantric Sex and the Kama Sutra and really simplified it with tasteful and erotic photographs and spot on descriptions. Here list of books is extensive including Ultimate Sex Guide, Pocket Sex Guide, Kama Sutra, Pocket Kama Sutra, Ultimate Sexual Touch, Sexual Intimacy, and great sex guide.
This particular brand of lotions and oils weren’t actually used in the original Kama Sutra books, but with the already branded name, this company has managed to corner the market on sensual lotions and oils and deservingly so. All of the kama sutra products have wonderful herbal and fruity flavors, ranging from chocolate flavored body oils to vanilla massage cream. One of my favorites is the Honey Dust, which sprinkles onto your skin and leaves it milky white and tasting of honey. You can’t go wrong with these products. Sex Toy Guide |
